Libyan side Al Ahly of Tripoli have completed the signing of 30-year old Cameroonian forward Jacques Zoua Daogari from ambitious Cameroonian side AS FUTURO of Mfou.
The Club has taken to social media to confirm the move with publication of Zoua’s photos in the jersey of the club.
Zoua who lastly played for AS Futuro of Mfou has signed a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee and salary.
The striker will join the rest of the Club’s squad as they continue their current CAF Champions League journey.
Zoua joined AS Futuro in October 2020 in the build-up to the 2020 African nations championship and immediately joined the Cameroon squad which reached the semi-final of the tournament for the first time in four attempts.
The 2017 AFCON winner return to his club after the African Nations championship and played a pivotal role in branding the institution till his departure on Tuesday.
Zoua began his professional career at Cotonsport of Garoua, before switching to Europe where he represented clubs in Switzerland, Germany, Romania amongst others winning multiple titles and even featuring in the prestigious UEFA Champions League.
The player returns abroad for the first time in close to a year.
