Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and FC Sion midfielder Christian Zock was on target on Sunday as his side’s 2-1 win at home to FC Vaduz on Sunday in match-day 12 of the Swiss Super League championship.
The highly-contested encounter failed to provide a goal in the opening 45 minutes of the game.
Upon resumption for the second segment nothing changed as the first 25 minutes of the half was a repeat of events of the the first-half.
Christian Zock put the host ahead in the 72nd minute with a well-worked solo effort.
However Sion’s lead lasted just four minutes as Swiss midfielder Gabriel Lüchinger leveled scores in the 76th minute.
27-year-old Algerian left-back Ayoub Abdellaoui won it for FC Sion in the 90th minute when he made it 2-1 off an assist from Sandro Theler.
The game ended on a 2-1 score, thus earning three points for FC Sion.
The win is the Club’s second for the season but it still leaves them on the last-but-one spot with 11 points from 12 games.
Sion takes on fourth-placed FC Zurich in match-day 13 of the Swiss Super League championship.
