French Ligue 1 outfit SCO Angers have completed the signing of 18-year-old potential Congo Republic goalkeeper Zinga Melvin, kick442.com can report.
The teenage keeper has penned a three-year-deal to move to the Raymond Kopa Stadium from second tier outfit Le Havre.
The Montivilliers native with Congolese descent previously featured with multiple youth teams of Le Havre.
He has also caught the attention of the French football federation as they have capped him for the country’s Youth selections.
He was a part of the France team that participated in last year’s Under-17 FIFA World Cup tournament in Brazil, but remains eligible to represent the Congo through his father.
He will initially join Angers’ feeder team with expectations of breaking into the senior team with time.
