Indomitable of Lions Cameroon and Royal Antwerp striker Didier Lamkel Ze scored one of two as his side suffered a 5-2 defeat away to Glasgow Celtic on Wednesday night in a round of 32 game in the 2020-2021 UEFA Europa League fixture.
The ‘born again’ couldn’t help as despite scoring, his side leaked in five goals at the back on the night the Scottish side completely exposed the quality of defending from their Belgian neighbors.

Ivan Rafaelov leveled matters 22 minutes later off an assist from Jordan Lukaku.
Both sides wasted a number of chances in the rest of the half and at the break it was 1-1 but promising more.
Barely a minute into the second segment, Nathan Patterson restored the Rangers’ lead thanks to an assist from Alfredo Morelos.
Former APEJES of Mfou midfielder Franck Boya was introduced almost immediately the goal was scored taking the Cameroonian contingent at Antwerp to three players as Martin Hongla and Didier Lamkel Ze started.
Alfredo Morelos was on the end of another assist this time around for Ryan Kent who made it 3-1 for Rangers in the 55th minute.
Two minutes after Rangers doubled their lead, Cameroon’s Didier Lamkel Ze scored to make it 3-2 for Antwerp.
Hongla saw yellow for his troubles in the 71st minute.
Unfortunately for the Belgian Jupila Pro Championship side that goal was all they had left in their tank as Celtic scored twice again through Borna Barišić and Cedric Itten from the penalty spot but there wasn’t a reply from the visitors.
Hongla was replaced in the 82nd minute with the game already lost.
Didier Lamkel Ze lasted the duration of the encounter and his goal in his first appearance of the season in the competition takes his season tally to five goals in 14 appearances in all competitions. He is also credited for two assists this season.
The game ended on a 5-2 score in favor of Rangers who won 9-5 on aggregate to sail through to the next round of the 2020-2021 UEFA Europa League competition.
