Mr. Yuh Emmanuel, a die-hard supporter of PWD Social Football Club of Bamenda has donated a significant amount of materials to the team.
The materials consisting of 30 boots, 15 balls, PWD Fusion made jerseys, bips and socks were handed to the team Thursday April 1, 2021 in Bamenda.
While handing over the materials to the management of the team, Mme Jane Francis, sister of Mr Yuh Emmanuel, said his brother was so touch with the fire incident that affected the team and because he loves to sponsor excellence, he decided to do this support.
Mme Jane disclosed that her brother has promised never to relent his efforts to support the team whenever the need arises.
In reaction, Mr Njoya Joseph, first vice president of PWD Social Football Club, on behalf of the team appreciated the gesture.
He said what happened to the team was unimaginable and it was going to send them 10 years back. But thanks to the support of their fans like Mr. Yuh Emmanuel and others, the team is gradually getting back on track.
He promised that the team won’t let him and the fans down as they will continue to work hard to remain on the right path.
