David Ngambe swallowed a heavy defeat to newly promoted Canon of Yaounde on match day 1, and blamed it on youthfulness.

The 2017/18 Cameroon league 2 champions hit the self destruct button 3 times with just 12 minutes remaining to the end of the encounter.

“We have a very young side”, he lamented – “youthfulness got us in trouble. We conceded the first goal through an individual error, and the flood gates opened”.

“We are confident for the next game and we have equally noticed some issues we would sort out. We have many players from inferior divisions – hopefully they pick up the steam”.

Coach Ngambe David has not gotten off to a flying start and he needs to start getting those victories given that Avion is one of those club’s with no patience. Last season Coach Ina Ngassa was fired and Vassilios Esseme took over but was equally axed at the end.
