French Ligue 2 outfit Paris FC have made their first summer signing.
They have secured the services of 22-year-old Senegalese defender Youssoupha Ndiaye from Lyon-Duchère on a three-year contract.
Currently coached by René Girard, Paris FC were ranked 17th on the French Ligue 2 table in the just terminated season.
Ndiaye featured in 24 league games with Lyon-Duchère last season, scoring two goals in the French National 1.
“Signing my first professional contract with Paris FC makes me proud,” the native of Dakar said on the club’s official website.
“I have had a very complicated football journey, I have struggled to get to this point, and to me I view this move as a reward for the the hard work I have put in.
“It could be said that I have taken a new step forward in my career, one which is very important for me, I hope to take it under my stride and adapt very fast.”
The former FC Lyon centre-back is hugely appreciated by René Girard who is hoping to make Paris FC better than they were last season.
