Cameroon Elite One franchise YOSA of Bamenda have completed the signing of experienced defender Acha Lovis from rivals Eding Sport de la Lekie.
The move to sign the defender was confirmed this Friday, thus amounting to a return to the town in which the defender previously made a name for himself while on the books of National Polytecnic during the 2015 season.
“We are happy to announce that we have secured the services of defender Acha Lovis from Eding Sport of Lekie,” a club statement announcing the ex-Astres full-back read.
“Lovis returns to YOSA for his second spell.
The defender has previously played for National Polytechnic, Feutcheu FC, Astres, Options Sports Academy Limbe and Eding Sports.
Acha Lovis adds to the experience of defenders in our squad for the upcoming season. 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞, 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐚 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐬,” YOSA’s communication team concluded.
Leonard is the eighth signing concluded by the club as they build up to the 2022/23 season with greater optimism.
So far, Nchindo John Bosco, Chem Herbert, Embe Hessemb Franck Eric, Sundze Zunedu, Cyrille Evouna among others have joined YOSA in the build up to the new campaign.
The club is preparing for its 14 season in the top-flight – having ascended the division in 2009 and done well since they first came.
