kick442.com has gathered that players of YOSA of Bamenda refused to carryout their regular practice session on Thursday at their base in the Northwest as the protested against the non-payment of their salaries for more than two months.
We understand the club have respected her salary commitments with the players once since the start of the current season.
Speaking with a cross section of players on the situation, the players confirmed it’s been very difficult working without remuneration for Months now.
Coach Kenneth was in the club’s training ground to assist the team on Thursday, unfortunately for him the players weren’t willing to train because of their present situation.
The club is still to make an official statement about boycott of training on Thursday and the players say management didn’t comment on their situation till the end of the day.
YOSA is currently on a run of 4 consecutive draws in the League and it’s likely the club’s current form may have been affected by the players current situation.
This is happening just weeks after SYNAFOC alerted FIFA about Cameroonian clubs ill attitude of accumulated unpaid players salaries.
YOSA currently occupies the 4th spot in the log with 16 points from 12 games in the League this season.
