Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda has completed the signing of former U23 indomitable lions player Akoh Calistus Anjeh.
He joins the Bamenda-based elite one club on a one-year deal that will see him bring in the much-needed experience.
“We are delighted to announce that we have reached an agreement with former Cameroon U23 international 𝐀𝐤𝐨𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐣𝐞𝐡.
The winger who can also play as a center-forward will spend the 2022/2023 football season with the academicians of Bamenda”, YOSA’s Media Unit announced.
The attacking winger who can also play as a center-forward joins Yong Sports Academy after having spells out of the country.
Akoh Calistus Anjeh played for Botafogo FC in the 2013/2014 football season before moving to Foot Consulting FC and Cara of Brazaville from 2014 to 2017.
In the 2017/2018 football season, he played for Equatorial Guinea champions, Akonangui FC.
While playing for APEJES of Mfou, Akoh Calistus Anjeh made 71 appearances scoring 24 goals and giving 26 assists.
He has had 6 caps for the intermediate lions, and 2 for the U23 lions, and was a nominee for the Elite One Best player in 2019.
Akoh Calistus will join the rest of the team in Bamenda for training.
