Yong sports Academy of Bamenda has raided sisters club, Rainbow FC, capturing three members of Rainbow’s team that took part in the last national Interpool.
The Bamenda boys have secured the services of 23 year old defender Lovette Asongwe Atangche. Born on the 27 of March 1995, Lovette was a kingpin in the Rainbow side that finished as 2018 Champions of the North West regional league. His defensive prowess was vital for Rainbow who conceded 8 goals in 12 matches in the North West regional league and suffered defeat just once. Though they had a poor run at the National interpool, Lovette Asongwe was one of the stand out performers for Rainbow, playing all three games against Leopard, Abong Mbang FC and Victoria United.
Another addition into the YOSA squad from Rainbow FC is Gama Nerville Ngong. Nerville was a late addition into the Rainbow squad shortly before the interpool. The 20 year old attack has the pace to supplement YOSA’s attack. The former Eding sport Trainee will hope to have enough game time under Coach Emmanuel Ndoumbe Bosso, after just months of guidance under Coach Ngwa Remy at Rainbow.
The Rainbow trio joining YOSA is completed by forward Abanke Eric, according to reliable sources within Rainbow FC. Abanke has the pace and pace to add more flair in YOSA’s attack, and will certainly learn a lot from the experience of Ashu Tambe Clevis.
These three players certainly caught the eye of YOSA’s management, during the friendly games the two sides played in the build up to the interpools.
Our sources also revealed that Ngome Clech has left Rainbow for Bang Bullet, and Rainbow’s captain Awallu Sale Mohamadou might soon join him at Bang Bullet, as he continues to recover from injury.
