Nigeria women Under 17 side, Flamingoes continue their preparation for next week FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers first round clash with Guinea with another victory on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

It was an impressive 3-0 win for Flamingoes over FCT U15 Boys in Abuja. Goals scored by Rivers Angels’ Hannah Yusuf, team highest goal scorer and Osun Babes’ Yemisi Samuel (her 8th in 4 games) and Rofiat Imuran sealed Flamingoes triumph.

This will be Flamingoes fourth (4th) friendly match ahead of their India 2020 FIFA Under 17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers against Guinea. The team earlier on defeated Mees Palace U13 3-2 , recorded a resounding 6-1 victory over Abuja All Stars Ladies and annihilated Naija Ratels 5-0.

Since conceding four (3) goals in their first two (2) games, Flamingoes continue to keep clean sheet in their last two (2) matches as they hope to travel to Guinea and come back to Nigeria with a positive first leg result ahead of the return leg at Soccer Temple, Agege Stadium, Lagos.
