21-year-old Moroccan youth international Yassine Benharou will play for Nîmes next season in the French Ligue 1.
According to reports from French daily L’Equipe, Nîmes have decided to make the offensive midfielder’s loan move from Bordeaux permanent.
He is expected to sign a three-year contract worth €1.5million and join the Crocodiles on a permanent basis.
Benharou impressed in his loan spell with Nîmes, scoring 2 goals in 10 games.
He was born in Le Blanc-Mesnil in France, but opted to represent Morocco, which is the country of origin of his parents.
After representing France at the U-16 and U-17 levels, he decided to switch his international allegiance to Morocco and represented their U-20s in a pair of 2019 U-20 AFCON qualification games in March 2018.
