Yannick Joseph N’djeng is turning out to be the lucky charm for the intermediate Lions of Cameroon as they build up to the 2020 African Nations Championship on home soil.
The 29-year-old former Esperance of Tunis and FC Sion forward scored his fourth goal in three appearances for the intermediate Lions of Cameroon on Wednesday as they ease pass Elite One side APEJES of Mfou in a 6-1 win.
The striker who scored twice in 45 minutes against Canon and once in the same duration against Colombe scored the opener in the Lions emphatic win against APEJES.
Noted for his intelligence in the final third and ability to connect with the net N’djeng the forward currently on the books of AS Futuro of Mfou is not doing any different.
Barely weeks before the start of the African Nations Championship, the forward looks like the man of the moment.
His goal against APEJES made him the joint lead scorer in Cameroon’s friendly games in preparations for the CHAN. He is tied on four goals as Man Ykre though he has spent up to a month with the team that has been camping for over a year.
Once of the senior national selection of Cameroon, N’djeng could be the required ingredients in Mpile’s success meal in the making.
