The Cameroonian Women’s soccer military team have snatched a 2-1 victory against the U.S. Armed Forces Women’s football team at the CISM Military Championship in Spokane, Washington on July 13,2022 in the third day of the eleven days tournament.
Captain Annette Ngo Ndom and mates were slightly faster and better at taking shots, passes and interceptions right up until near the end of the first half.
Haley Roberson, scored the first goal for U. S. at the 2nd minute in the first half, through an assist from Scotti Culton.
Mbomozomo Brigitte Yvanna equalized at the 5th minute as the USA keeper Kelly Fritzgerald couldn’t see the ball in the sun.
Both teams retained their starting eleven players with no substitute . Cameroon were the first to substitute ten minutes into the second half, with the United States replacing two minutes later.
At 79th minutes Ebika Tabe Brenda scored, giving Cameroon a 1 goal lead to win the match by 2-1.
Coach Ndoumou Josephine Mike had seen the U.S. striker Roberson earn a hat trick in the July 11 game against Belgium. Team USA didn’t have a chance to see Cameroon play as it was their first game.
The United States will face Germany on July 15. Germany trashed Ireland 3-0 in the other opening game and also beat Belgium 5-0 on July 13.
The other teams part-taking in the Military Women’s Soccer Jamboree are Canada,Ireland, Netherlands, Mali, France and South Korea.
