Intermediate Lions of Cameroon teenage wonderkid Ondoa Edima Franck stole the show again as Cameroon champions secured a convincing victory over APEJES of Mfou at the CAF Excellence center in Mbankomo-Cameroon on Wednesday in a warm-up game game.
The 16-year-old became Barca’s youngest ever debutant for the intermediate Lions last month when he featured in a friendly game against local top-flight side Canon Yaounde.
On Wednesday, he became the youngest ever goalscorer for the team when he came off the bench to dismantle the APEJES defense twice and assist.
Ondoa came on with 20 minutes of the game left and in his first involvement, the forward unleashed a beauty to extend the Lions lead to three. He needed less than five minutes to double his tally with a strong finish after a darting run into the box.
He then returned the favour to Marius Ngon A Tiati added and provided the assist for the Canon Yaounde forward to double his tally for the game and increase the intermediate Lions of Cameroon lead to 6-1 minutes before be foreign full-time.
The Cameroon-born Ondoa, is on the books of third tier side Acinfoot of Yaoundé. He joined the Club when he was 12.
Just four years later and he’s a first-team player with the intermediate Lions, goalscorer and record-breaker.
