Indomitable Lioness and Valerenga forward Nchout Njoya Ajara was on target as her Norwegian women’s top-flight side comfortably defeated Lithuanian side Gintra Universitetas by seven goals to nil.
Strange enough all of Valerenga’s seven goals were scored by seven different players as they made light work of the host.
What looked like a good start for Gintra in the opening quarter hour, suddenly became an afternoon to forget.
Icelandic defender Ingibjörg Sigurðardóttir gave Valeranga a deserved lead in the 19th minute.
It will soon be two when 12 minutes from the break, Rikke Marie
Madsen pounced on a lose ball on the edge of the box to punish Gintra for their chaotic defending.
Dejan Stefanovic scored on the stroke of half-time off an assist from Nchout Ajara to completely take the game off the grasp of the Lithuanians.
16 minutes after the interval Dejan Stefanovic made it four, before Nchout Ajara scored her third champions league goal of the season to extend Valerenga’s lead to five goals to nil.
A 70th minute own goal from Vestina Neverdauskaitė and a last gasp strike from Kinden Jensen completed the rout in a near perfect afternoon for Ajara and mates.
Valerenga has won all three games so far in the competition.
The leaders host Avaldnes in the Norwegian championship this weekend.
