Deborah Enganamouit, has decided that her foundation, Rail football academy would be celebrating the international women’s day with a tournament.
The first edition of this competition would take place from the 2 to the 6, in the Benoue stadium, Rail.
This is yet another reason why the football fans consider the 26-year-old as a lady, with the heart of gold.
The forward has maybe lost her ‘musong’ (magic) when it comes to goal scoring, but she has been in the mix when it comes to developing the women’s game; she hit the headlines when she opened up the first female football academy, on Friday January 4, the first of it’s kind in Cameroon.
The ‘tower of brilliance’ now plays for Spanish first-tier outfit, Malaga after a rather disappointing spell at Norwegian side, Avaldsnes.
While the female goal-hunter continues with her off field signature class-act, football lovers, are hoping the love for the people can turn into the love for the net in the upcoming FIFA women’s world cup. As a reminder Deborah, remains Africa’s highest active goal scorer going to the world cup, as she kissed the net 3 times in 2015.
