Defending Champions Mali defeated Senegal in it second game of the FIBA Under 18 Afrobasket Championship holding in Cairo, Egypt on Friday.
Mali, after beating Egypt in Thursday’s match continued their impressive form by putting aside Senegal.
It was Senegal who started like a house on fire winning the first quarter of the tie 13-10.
However, Mali turned the game around in the second quarter 18-8 to end the first half 28-21 in favour of Mali.
Malians increase it lead to 46-32 in the third quarter.
The 2018 champions got better as the game went by with the help Alima Kouyate who scored 14 points, 20 rebounds, and 2 assists.
Mali won by 61-37.
