Draws for the 24th edition of the Women’s Africa Handball Cup will take place today Thursday April 1, 2021, at 7:00pm in CRTV house Mballa II Yaounde.
The draw ceremony comes after a two day inspection visit by the delegation from the African Handball Confederation (CAHB), on Sports, Health and Lodging facilities.
The Women’s Africa Handball Cup serves as a qualifier for the Summer Olympics and World Handball Championship.
13 countries will take part in this years edition with Cameroon serving as host and Angola as defending champions.

The tournament will be held under the aegis of African Handball Confederation and will act as the African qualifying tournament for the 2021 World Women’s Handball Championship.
Meantime the women’s handball team of cameroon have been fine-tuning tactics under the leadership of coach Serge Guebogo to defend the colours of the country.
The competition was scheduled to take place from 2 to 12 December 2020 but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was rescheduled to 10 to 20 June 2021 in Yaoundé.
