Last month, Samuel Akinbinu extended his contract with Arta/Solar 7, little did he know that something great is about to happen.
Former Arsenal and Barcelona star, Alex Song was unveiled by the club this month and his addition will be a great boost for the team and also increases their chance of winning the league in Djibouti this season.
Arta/Solar 7 striker, Samuel Akinbinu believes Alex Song will not only help the team but will also help in improving him as a person. While speaking to kick442.com, Samuel Akinbinu said
“Its a great achievement having alex song in my team and a great boost for me.
“He will give me more confidence and I will improve more than before. Last season I was the highest goal scorer of my team Arta/solar 7 but now having alex song in the team with and God on my side I should be the highest goal scorer of the league this season.”
Arta/Solar 7 will play Egypt’s Al Mokawloon in the preliminary round of this year’s CAF Confederations Cup.
The first league will be played in Djibouti and the second leg in Egypt.
