The chairman of South Africa’s ABSA Premiership side Baroka FC, Khurishi Mphahlele has told coach Wedson Nyirenda to win the 2019/2020 ABSA Premiership title or he will be sacked from the club.
The chairman’s statement comes just days to the start of the PSL in South Africa. Last season, Baroka FC managed to avoid relegation as they finished on the 14th spot with 29points, one place above the relegation zone. Baroka FC escaped relegation by a whisker last season but that has not stopped club chairman Khurishi Mphahlele from issuing a mandate to coach Wedson Nyirenda to win the league title in the coming campaign.

Baroka FC was founded in 2007 and they are nicknamed the Bakgakga. The club rose to prominence in 2011 by reaching the semi-final of the 2011 Nedbank Cup, defeating several Premier Soccer League sides like Moroka Swallows and Kaizer Chiefs along the way.
