The unbeaten run of Volcan FC continues after the team overpowered New Style FC 2-0 over the weekend. The game counted for the second day of play in the ongoing 2020/2021 west Regional League.
In the first encounter in the League, the team defeated Royal FC away from home by 3-0, which was the biggest winning margin of the first day. The three points gained ensured that the team continues to lead the unofficial classification with six points after two games played.
Two others are also on a perfect start to the championship with two wins from two games; Fusee FC and AS Noun FC. Fusee FC defeated Polyteck FC 2-1, while Scorpion FC lost 0-2 to AS Noun FC.
17 goals were scored during day two action. There were three home victories and four away victories. Just one draw was observed and one match did not take place due to one of the teams coming with limited players.
The number of goals scored is identical to the number observed on matchday one. The number of home victories stayed the same from day one, though the away victories increased from two to four.
