As Foncha Street FC of Bamenda entered the third week of training Tuesday September 29, 2020, head coach Njiki Simplice has told this online portal that, he is building a very competitive team and by October 10, he will have the right formula.

“The first two weeks were for observation of both the old and new players with a lot of physical exercises. Today we have moved into another phase where we are building capacities and cohesion with the team and also how to collectively conserve and keep possession of the ball. By October 10, I will have the team that I need”, Coach Njiki Simplice said.

On Saturday October 3, 2020, Foncha Street FC will play their first preseason friendly and the coach says, he will use the match as an evaluation of the progress of work so far after which he shall make public a provisional list of 30 players.

Since taking over from Armand Bomono a fourth night ago, Njiki Simplice says he feels at home in Bamenda because he has been here before for two years with National Polytechnic of Bamenda.
