After failing to gain promotion to the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Championship at the just concluded NWFL Nationwide, Omidiran Babes’ player,
Orji Beatrice is optimistic that her side can learn from the experience to put up a good show come next season.
“We lost our game but also tried our best and hope for better results next season as we will come back with full passion to give our best,” Beatrice told www.kick442.com.
Orji Beatrice scored two goals for Omidiran Babes against Oasis Ladies FC and Royaltoms Queens.
“I prefer to start my football career from Nigeria so that I can be scouted before playing in Europe, and Asia. My dream club outside Nigeria is my club (Manchester United) while my male role model is Cristiano Ronaldo because we almost play the same wing. As for women footballers, my role model is Asisat Oshoala but she is not playing for my club.”
Defeats to Dannaz Ladies, Moje Queens, Oasis Ladies FC, and Royaltoms Queens ensured that Orji Beatrice and Omidiran Babes will have to try their luck next season as far as promotion to the second tier, NWFL Championship is concerned.
