“We want to be the champion of the South West, and a finalist in the Cup of Cameroon”;EEMSA sends A clear message

Preparations for the upcoming SW regional league has intensified in the last few weeks, especially as the league would flow this time for 2 months non-stop.

Clubs are testing the waters already with fellow contenders of the league, while others decide to go with the heavyweights (League 1 sides).

EEMSA took on Ajax of Tiko in a heated local derby, while Little Foot exchanged blows with New Stars of Tiko last Saturday and it ended ;

The beautiful game seems to be played with more beauty in the SW, as first FECAFOOT VP for the SW,Manga Pascal told kick442.com in an exclusive match interview:

“The type of football I saw today was good, and imagine that there are just test matches”

“When you see what the guy’s did at their ages, you cannot help thinking about their talents”.

Mr Manga Pascal FECAFOOT 1st VP

The FECAFOOT first vice president is former president of Ajax of Likomba, and only came to watch the game as a football promoter.

Ajax’s on the day was a good EEMSA side, one that beat Dragon of Yaounde last season in the Cup of Cameroon to get the coveted last 16 spot, and many believe the fatigue was what made them to be ousted by Best Stars of Limbe at the level of the Mini Interpols.The Club’s President,Mr Dikongue was rather unconvinced with what he thought was a mediocre performance but impressed by how his boys fought for the results;

Mr Dikongue of EEMSA

“We are not quite ready but getting there gradually. You know with the Lock down, we were not able to bring the players together, and now we need to overdose them before the season starts”.

Manager, Nzams Kelvin of EEMSA was rather hopeful, and brought forth words that could only bring out goose bombs from the flesh;

“The victory is good, but we need to work harder. We want to be the Champion of the SW and a finalist in the Cameroon Cup”.

EEMSA poses a fine-tuned team, with squad depth and new recruits. The club rarely face huge financial down drops, and some football writers monitoring these statements would keep one eye on the team.

Coach Ndoumbe Fidelis of Ajax was all about fair play, and of the opinion that his youthful side would not show any youthful panic in the seasons opener;

Coach Ndoumbe Fedelis of Ajax Likomba

“I congratulate them because what I wanted, I think they did it 70 percent. Ajax is ready for the 2019 competition physically, and I think technically we are progressing”.

Kimbi Edwin was all over the heads of the Ajax defender’s, as he was the man of the match with two goals ;

“I thank all my team mates for planning and getting the victory, you know we have not trained for up to two weeks now, and we train in two different towns thus difficult for understanding when we come together. I want to carry the team and score many goals as God would permit me to”.

The League has been programed to start on Friday the of February, Friday 22, following the new text. The South West is fully ready for the first step of getting a League two side, that feel of football in the SW when the Samba boy’s brought the Elite one title is gradually creeping in.
