Ngwa Remy Bashia, coach of North West Regional League side, Rainbow FC of Bamenda has told kick442.com that, his team is working and focusing on not just playing their third consecutive finals but more determined more than ever before to once again represent the region at the national interpools and grab an elite two ticket.
The coach made the statement after his team picked up their 4th consecutive league on Thursday March 5th against Tondic FC. Rainbow FC has beaten four opponents that has come their way this season with a draw on match day 5 against a stubborn Vision Athletics side in the North West regional league. They have defeated Rangers of Bafut, Santos, Vision Sports and Tondic FC.
Asked about the calibre of players in the ranks of his team, coach Ngwa Remy says, he has gone with talent and experience this season, judging from their past performances.
He says, “the secret is very natural. HARDWORK, SACRIFICE and DISCIPLINE. I must say am blessed with a team that is ready to play, a team that is always ready to put in the best in terms of performance. I think they have a good fighting spirit as a team”, Ngwa Remy told kick442.com.
As regards the organization of the championship so far, the coach had some kind words for the North West FECAFOOT bureau.
“I think everything is moving on well so far. There have many surprises coming from teams that were considered “underdogs” from the begining and this makes the league interesting. It is a tough journey as we watch teams play each playing day”.
Coach Ngwa Remy Bashia has guided RainbowFC to two consecutive finals of the regional mini interpools and equally guided the team to the national interpools two years ago.
