Ashanti Regional RAG chairman, Retired referee G.K Manu has revealed that the Referees association of Ghana is upset and disappointed in the current FA for failing to fulfill their promises.

In an interview with Kumasi based Otec FM, Mr. Mr. G. K Manu expressed his disappointment in the FA for not fulfilling their promises which they made before the start of the leagues.

“As far as the FA is concerned, we are not happy with the way payments are made to the referees.
They (GFA) have failed to fulfill the promises they made to us”
He said

He added that some of the referees are even fed up so the leaders have been calming them down.

“Some of the referees are even fed up, we the leaders need to calm them down because it is very painful for not paying them after officiating such number of games.
It is the same money which is used for accommodation and as transportation to other various centers.
I am highly disappointed in the current FA” He added

Ghana Football Association has not paid the referees after almost the first round of the premier league.

Ghana premier league is currently on break due to the Corona Virus outbreak.
