The Supporters Union of West African Football Academy (WASU), yesterday 4th of June marked a historic celebration of their 5- 0 victory over Accra Heaven arts of Oak in the Ghana premier league three years ago with donations.
In order to help the fight against Covid-19 pandemic, the President of WASU Mr. Yohanes Hadzor Nugbe and his entire management made donations of nose masks to the environ of WAFA (Sogakope).
WASU management as well used the opportunity during the celebration to remind and educate the public on the needs to adhere to the pandemic protocols while hoping for the coming back of Football as soon as possible.
Exactly three years ago, June 4, 2017, Hearts of Oak was humiliated by WAFA, as they suffered their worst league defeat, 5-0 at Sogakope during the week 17th fixture of Ghana League since 1956/1957 season.
The goals were scored by Majeed Ashimeru, Abdul Ibrahim, Daniel Lomotey 2× and Abubakari Ibrahim.
