The lone Women’s team from the North West region of Cameroon Vision Sports FC of Bamenda have recorded first win at home against Renaissance Women of Guider thanks to a goal from Fule Glory. In one of Matchday three games at the Yong Francis Arena mile 6 Nkwen, the girls of coach Festus Kuabang impressed home fans as they continue their race to the top.

At kickoff, Vision Sports FC of Bamenda meant business as they did all they could to impress home fans in their first match of the season on home soil.

Barely five minutes into the field Milaine Vanilor of Vision Sports launched a powerful shot to awake goalkeeper Germaine of Renaissance Women of Guider but it went out of the field of play.

Vision Sports captained by Shalom Makoma proved some real sense of professionalism and mastery as dribbles, free kicks and resistance was evident.

In retaliation, Renaissance women headed by coach Njuh Fang Fidel in the 20th minute, dominated the game but the preparedness and experience of goalkeeper Liliane Choumba sealed the goalpost making it difficult for Renaissance to penetrate to the back of the net

27 minutes in to the game, a free-kick was awarded to Vision Sports caused by Awah Ava. The free-kick was taken by Fule Glory who drove it directly in to the back of the net, making it one for Vision and nil for Renaissance.

The second half came in seeing both sides mounting pressure on each other for points but desperate Vision Sports displayed professional mastery of the ball.

Coach Kuaban Festus of Vision Sports longing for points and goals, substituted Alvine Loriane for Nevis Bouh Foncha. Many other substitutions were done by both sides but the score board remained thesame. All Shots and pressure only ended in same fate

Fule Glory in her race to increase her goals only ended over the goalpost.

Brilliant interception from Marly Confidence of Vision sports stopping Renaissance from penetrating the defence line was the last interesting action leading to end.

Vision Sports now has 7 points in three games and are yet to conceive a goal since the start of the 2020/2021 Guiness Women Super League Championship.
