The Portuguese Primeira Liga has returned after the Coronavirus imposed break.
It was a losing restart for league leaders FC Porto who lost 2-1 away to Famalicao.
After a goalless first half, Fabio Martins opened the scoring for the home side at the 48th minute.
Jesus Corona got an equalizer for Sergio Conceiçao’s men at the 74th minute but Famalicao had the final word as Pedro Gonclaves restored their lead four minutes later.
Vincent Aboubakar was introduced at the 82nd minute but failed to get the much needed equalizer for Porto who had to settle for an unlikely defeat.
It was Porto’s third loss of the season, with three draws and 19 wins in 25 games.
Porto remains top of the table with 60 points, a point more than second placed Benfica, while waiting for results of the rest of the Day 25 fixtures today.
Famalicao are on the fifth spot with 40 points, two points less than fourth placed Sporting Lisbon.
