Spanish La Liga side Villarreal CF has made the first move towards signing on-loan Cameroon midfielder Andre Frank Zambo-Anguissa on a permanent deal.

With European football on their itinerary next season, Villarreal is keen on keeping the players who helped them finish fifth this term.

The Sun Football is reporting that the Club has made a £22 million bid for the 24-year-old Cameroonian midfield metronome.

The same source says Fulham are considering the offer for the player which they signed two summer ago at £30 Million from Olympique Marseille.

Anguissa has repaired his reputation in Spain after a difficult stint in England. He featured in 36 of his side’s 38 league games and scored twice across the season.

He still has a three-year contract at the Craven Cottage, but it is hard to see him return to the Club though Fulham is pushing for promotion back to the Premier League.
