21-year-old highly rated Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen has said he will not join just any club after his departure from French Ligue 1 outfit Lille.
“My goal is to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world, for now I am happy at Lille,” the former Wolfsburg and Charleroi forward told The Independent.
“My priority is to play many games. To join a big club and sit on the bench, doesn’t interest me.”
Victor James Osimhen joint Lille last Summer and hit the ground running. The Nigerian international has scored 13 goals in 27 League games for them.
Lille’s management wishes to keep the native of Lagos for another season, though Manchester United, Chelsea and even Real Madrid have been mentioned to have an interest in the player.
The Ultimate Strikers Academy youth product has scored four goals in nine caps for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
He helped Nigeria to triumph in the 2015 CAF U-23 AFCON and the FIFA U-17 World Cup in in 2015.
