Ajara has snapped an eight-game scoring drought in emphatic fashion in match-day 13 as the Norwegian Women’s Toppserien returned from international break.
Nchout Njoya Ajara put together a dominant performance in the second half of Vålerenga’s 7-0 Toppserien win over Klepp, netting a hat trick in the 29 minutes second segment of the match and adding to her first in the 18th minute.
It almost seemed as if the Cameroonian was just three steps ahead of everyone else on the pitch, making Klepp’s defense look silly on multiple occasions with her flair and fancy footwork, solidifying arguably one of her best performances of the 2020-2021 season.
Ajara found the back of the goal just about every way possible. She weaved through defenders opening the scoring and concluding it.
Sigrid Hansen in the 20th minute Dejana Stefanović nine minutes later plus a fine finish from 22-year-old Icelandic defender Ingibjörg Sigurðardóttir in the 45th completed the list of scorers in the memorable game for the log leaders and Ajara in particular.
The 27-year-old native of Njisse from the West Region of Cameroon has scored eight goals in 13 appearances this season.
Vålerenga remain atop with a three points cushion from defending champions LSK who have 28 points and a game in hand.
