Nchout Njoya Ajara celebrates goal with mates

Cameroonian forward Nchout Njoya Ajara has registered her name score sheet in Valerenga Feminine’s 3-1 home win over Trondheims-Orn this Saturday afternoon in her club’s day 17 encounter in the Norwegian Toppserien league.

The In-form striker scored her 10th league goal of the season in the 80th minutes as Valerenga recorded a 3 goals to 1 win over Trondheims-Orn.

Ajara’s goal takes her tally to 12 goals in her last 12 games for club and country.

Sandviken enjoyed a good start of the game when Dejana Stefanovic gave them a 10th minute lead which lasted till the half time break.

Clausen Marit 67th minutes strike put Trondheims-Orn back into the contest but a minute later Natasha Dowie made it 2-1 for Valerenga.

Just like last weekend Ajara Njoya stepped up with the goal to seal the victory when she gifted the ball to the net in the 80th minutes to make it 3-1 for Valerenga.

Ajara moves into the bracket of the League’s top 5 scorers and she is her club’s current top scorer with 10 league goals this season despite spending much of her time in a midfield role.

She counts 35 goals for club and country in the last 12 months, a performance fitting to put her amongst the most performant Africans in that time.

Valerenga can boast of 11 wins and 2 draws in 17 games this season and have a tough task next weekend away to Stabaek.

Valerenga remains temporarily occupies the 2nd spot on the log and are guaranteed to either close the gap between them and LSK Kvinner who lead with 42 points or go clear of Sandviken. LSK and Sandviken are currently facing each other.

Ajara’s Valerenga will stay be on the road to face 11th placed and relegation threatened Stabaek next weekend.
