Super Falcons captain, Asisat Oshoala scored her first goal in this season’s UEFA Women’s Champions League as her Club, FC Barcelona defeated PSV 1-4, www.kick442.com reports.
The former FC Robo Queens and Rivers Angels striker scored Barcelona’s third goal in the Round of 32 first leg tie at the Sport complex De Herdgang (Eindhoven).
Jenni Hermoso put the visitors (FC Barcelona) ahead in the fourth minute. Van den Berg’s own goal increased Barcelona’s lead to two before Oshoala made it 3-0.
Martens scored Barcelona’s fourth goal before Smits reduced PSV deficit.
Oshoala played for 67 minutes before she was replaced by Aitana Bonmati. She has scored three goals in the Spanish Primera Division with Barcelona having a 100% record in the 2020/2021 league season.
The four-time CAF Women Player of the Year is part of the players nominated for the inaugural UEFA Fans’ Team of the Year.
