Stade Renard’s captain Thomas Nkuissi LeGrand has his eyes only fixed on Stade Renard’s goal against USD, which is picking up maximum points.
Captain Nkuissi Thomas Legrand and teammates head to the Limbe Middle Farms stadium on Thursday for their delayed day 26 Elite One encounter and the skipper is more than poised to lead his side to victory.
The emblematic captain who marshalled Stade Renard to their very first trophy last season (Cameroon Cup) told kick442.com in an exclusive that the lads are leaking their lips for this particular clash.
‘The preparations are going on in good conditions. There is a unifying factor in the group as well as a sort of serenity.
‘We the players of Stade Renard have discovered that in the championship this season, the table is tight. There’s a drastic change anytime a team wins or swallows defeat in a game.
‘We have dominated in this tie but no two games resembles,” LeGrand recounted. Since the supreme rise of Stade Renard to elite football, they have played six games against USD and picked up 14 points out of a possible 18.
‘We have to forget the past and focus on our game. We have taken all on board to defeat this side that we respect very much,’ the 6 foot plus massive looking center half ended.
Union Sportif of Douala is 9th with 34 points while USD is 8th with 35 points after an astonishing resurgence in the second round. The game could make or break for the two sides.
The game would be played at the Limbe Middle Farms Stadium from 3:30 Central African Time.
