French third tier outfit, US Raon have named former Cameroon international Paul Alo’o Efoulou as their first team trainer after a successful 18 months stint as goalkeepers trainer.
The ambitious lower tier announced the move this Friday after a fruitful negotiation with Alo’o and his entourage which paved way for him to take over from Yannick Luizzo.
The 39-year old former Cameroon international who played for a number of French clubs before quitting football, comes with a chunk of experience having served as a player and a coach for a number of clubs.
The former AS Nancy forward who was a player/coach at amateur side Amnéville’s until December 2019 is a UEFA A diploma holder.
The one-time Al-Taawoun player won ten caps for Cameroon. He is now fully focused on the tactical side of the game. He started his coaching career at French amateur side of FC Lunéville.
Efoulou featured for AS Nancy Loraine in the French Ligue 1 championship plus SCO Angers and Le Havre in the second tier championship during his hay days.
He joins a number of ex internationals coaching youth teams around Europe.
