The friendly game between URA FC and Azam FC which was supposed to take place tomorrow 18th September has been postponed, the Club URA FC confirmed today morning via its Social media.
The club writes in a statement that the reason for the postponement was to allow players participate in different scheduled national team activities.
Tomorrow’s game between Azam was meant to be URA’s second international encounter after the first one in Rwanda against Rayon Sports in which they drew 1-1.
These friendlies were to boost the team preparations ahead of the Startimes Uganda Premier League due to start on 30th September towards the end of the month.
The tax collectors who finished third last season, 19 points behind League Champions Vipers SC begin their season on 1St October with Onduparaka FC.
