Players of Togolese CAF Confederation cup participants Unisport of Sokode have arrived Garoua – Cameroon in the afternoon of Friday, December 4.
The team arrived Cameroon’s chief town of Garoua at 12:52 local time guided by authorities of the Cameroon football federation.
The team is in the Central African nation to take on 15 times champions of Cameroon Cotonsport of Garoua who recorded a two-nil victory in Togo as visitors last weekend.
The Unisport delegation left Togo in the early hours of of the day and arrived Cameroon just before midnight after a transit in Ivory Coast.
It is the first coming to Cameroon for the team and they have a mountain to climb against a very organized Cotonsport of Garoua outfit.
The visitors passed were subject to the routine Covid-19 test after which they passed the night in a hotel in Douala.
They are expected to train at the Roumde Adja Stadium in Garoua on Saturday for Sunday’s game.
