The communications unit of the Union of Central African Football Federations, UNIFFAC, have announced the names of the nations to participate in the 2020-2021 Under-20 men’s youth championship.
According to the institution’s latest release of Thursday, November 26, 2020, six nations viz; host Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon, Chad, Congo Republic, DR Congo and Central Africa Republic have indicated interest in participating in the zonal tournament which will serve as the qualifiers for the 2021 Under-20 AFCON.
The games to be played at the Estadio Nacional de Malabo and Estadio de Rebola will have the six nations splitted in two groups for the start.
It is the first time this category of the national selections will use this tournament to seek qualification for the Under-20 AFCON.
