The executive committee of the Union of Central African Football Federations, UNIFFAC, have outlined it’s calendar activities for the year 2021. The calendar with respects to all the five competitions prescribed by CAF for the different sub regions.
According to the schedule, the second-half of this year will be a very charged one.
The competitions begin in June 2021 when the zonal qualifying rounds for its representatives in the 2021-2022 women’s CAF Champions League will be played.
This will be closely followed by the different national team tournaments for the ladies in the month of September.
The year will be capped by the Under-17 men’s tournament to be held in the month of November.
The UNIFFAC executive committee lead by president Gustavo Ndong is in search of the different host nations and they have taken an engagement to respect it’s calendar for competitions in 2021
UNIFFAC officials have resolved to open the bidding process to different members with immediate effect.
Some of the 2020 competition was abandoned due to the outbreak of the the Corona Virus pandemic.
Eight nations involved in youth football are expected to participate in the different events.
Cameroon, Chad, Gabon, Congo Brazzaville,DR Congo, Sao Tome, Central Africa Republic and Equatorial Guinea are expected to be in the mix with one of the nations as host in each competition.
Cameroon are champions of the men’s Under-17 and Under-20 tournaments while Equatorial Guinea are champions of the women’s football tournament.
