Potential Indomitable of Cameroon defender Penda Gabriel Fils Logi has helped the Under-20 national selection of Cameroon win the 2020 UNIFFAC tournament in Equatorial Guinea.
The 18-year-old versatile defender led defending for the Under-20 Lions as they dismantled Central Africa Republic by three goals to nil in an exciting final.
Penda reserved his best for the tournament in the final as he was smiling unbeatable against an exciting Central Africa Republic Frontline.
Noted for his intelligence on and off the ball plus his ability to pick his colleagues in the midfield and final-third with his long range passes, the AS Futuro of Mfou defender has been exceptional throughout the tournament.
Once of AS Futurna, Penda joined the ambitious AS Futuro of Mfou project in the build up to the current season.
His interesting input in the Lions den after being called up by coach Christophe Ousmanou earned him the armband and this Tuesday he lifted the trophy as the leader of Champions.
The young defender with nearly all of his career ahead of him has been tipped to follow the career path of the great Rigobert Song, Lucien Mettomo, Kalla Raymond amongst other great Cameroon defenders.
