A delegation of 30 Tunisian players plus support staff have arrived the Nsimalen Airport in Yaounde this Wednesday evening ahead of this Friday’s first final round AFCON Qualifiers against Cameroon in Yaounde.
The North Africans and their host Cameroon are on the last but one huddle before the 2019 Under 23 AFCON to take place in Egypt in November this year.
Tunisia will lodge at the Hilton Hotel while in Cameroon.
The team is expected to have a recognizance session at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium tomorrow afternoon before meeting the media ahead of Friday’s game.
The Cameroonian team of 6 Cameroon based players and 17 foreign based players guided by coach Rigobert Song Bahanack has been in Cameroon since earlier this week and it will be their 2nd involvement in the qualification campaign. Song’s team eliminated Chad in the first round qualifiers but enjoyed a walkover in the second round after their opponents Sierra Leone where eliminated even before the game.
