The Under-17 national selection of Cameroon have recorded an emphatic 3-0 win in their first warm-up game this Sunday at the CAF Excellence center in Mbankomo.
The boys of coach Anicet Mbarga Foe put three pass Amis Glory FC in an exciting Sunday fixture.
It was a quick fire start for the baby Lions who took just 12 minutes to score the opener through Adang Mveng.
The boys of multiplied efforts upfront but the final ball upfront was their undoing.
The Lions took the to the one-nil lead to the break though the performance was deserving of more.
The team return for the second segment even more apt in the final third.
Barely five minutes into the second half of the game, Simo Gideon converted a penalty to make it two-nil.
Substitute Jemea Likanjo headed home a 90th minute corner to make it three-nil.
The game ended on a three-nil score for the Lions.
The team continue camping in the next seven days with hopes of testing results of their efforts against another opponent before the close of the camp on January 10.
Cameroon is preparing for the U17 UNIFFAC tournament penciled for later this year.
