Barely weeks after the Junior Lions of Cameroon return from Tanzania as national heroes and champions of Africa, the team that still expects a good portion of its bonuses have been told to quit their base at Felydac Hotel where they had been lodging since May 17 while waiting to display the AFCON trophy they came back with in the presence of the president of the Republic Paul Biya on the 20th May (National Day).
Sources say after the teams match pass and visit to the presidency on Monday May 20th,the team return to their base at Felydac Hotel but our findings as at 1:00 PM this Tuesday indicated a good number of the players had left the Hotel instruction of hotel officials.
Attempts to reach the teams officials this Tuesday were fruitless but a few player we stumbled on heading to their homes in Yaounde appeared very much disgruntled and unwilling to comment on the situation.
Given that this players were expecting to get some of their bonuses and transportation its only fair the players body language deduce that their aspirations may have not been met.
Cameroon won the 2019 Under 17 AFCON trophy and as a result will be heading to Brazil for the World Cup this November.
