Football Writer, Cameroon. has been reliably informed that the Confederation of African Football has picked Cameroonian female Referees Josiane Nfongang Mbakop and Theresse Raissa Niguel as 2nd assistant referee and fourth official respectively for the first leg, first round Under 17 Women’s FIFA World cup qualifiers game pitting Sao Tome & Principe to DR Congo.

The Cameroonian pair of referees replace the unavailable Chadian duo Ms.Millah HALIME (Chad) [Assistant Referee 2], Marinan RONEYAM (Chad) [Fourth Official]

Dear Sir,

We would like to inform you that Ms.Millah HALIME (Chad) [Assistant Referee 2], Marinan RONEYAM (Chad) [Fourth Official] of the said match are Not Available. Hence, it was decided to replace them by Josiane MBAKOP NFONGAN (Cameroon) [Assistant Referee 2], Therese Raissa NEGUEL (Cameroon) [Fourth Official]: CAF wrote through a letter and found on our desk this January 5.

Mbakop is amongst the best female Referees in Cameroon.

She was a part of the group of referees selected by the Confederation of African Football for the 2018 Women’s cup of Nations in Ghana.

Her exploits in the competition earned her the honour of being one of the match officials one of two clashes pitting South Africa to Nigeria in that tournament.
