Former Under-17 Lions of Cameroon forward Seidou Ismaël has continued his brilliant start to life as a Union Sportive of Douala player.
The teenage forward scored the lone goal as Union Sportive of Douala narrowly-edged Bamboutos FC of Mbouda in a pre-season friendly this Friday.
Just like he did in their 2-1 win against Dynamo of Douala last week, Ismaël made a difference this time around.
It looks like both sides were heading towards a goalless draw situation before Ismaël pounced on a lose ball after a save from the Bamboutos FC keeper to score the winner for the Nasara Gamakai, barely 20 minutes from the end of regular time.
The score remained unchanged till the end of the game thus handing USD a precious win on the eve of the kick off of the new season penciled for later this month.
Ismaël joined Union Sportive of Douala last month from International Sporting in Yaoundé.
He was Cameroon’s lead scorer when the country won the 2019 Under-17 AFCON last year in Tanzania.
