Son of former Captain of the Senior Women’s team Marie Mvoue,Steve Mvoue will make his AFCON debut in the Under 17 AFCON Tournament in Tanzania as one of Cameroon’s man to watch. Steve will follow in the footsteps of his mother,and his brother Stephane Zobo who played for Cameroon in the 2017 Under 17 AFCON in Gabon.

A product of Azur Star Academy managed by his mother,Steve Mvoue Regis is “a son that resembles the mother”

Statistics: 10 Goals in 15 appearance for Cameroon’s Under 17 and Preselected for Cameroon’s Under 23 National Team.

Background:Son of Former Indomitable Lionnesses captain,Marie Mvoue and Brother of Toulouse FC forward Stephane Zobo.

The strong pacy forward has been unplayable for defenders in Cameroon’s preparatory games for the AFCON scoring thrice in Antalya and Kagali in two separate preparatory tournaments wherein Cameroon played 5 games.

Mvoue also finished as the top scorer in the UNNIFAC qualifiers with 6 goals as he carried Cameroon to success in Equatorial Guinea.

A member of a very talented team Steve Mvoue becomes the second son of Marie Mvoue to be listed by Cameroon for the Under 17 AFCON Tournament.His elder brother Stephane Zobo featured for Cameroon in the 2017 edition in Gabon and scored all of Cameroon’s two goals in the Tournament.

Mvoue will be one of Cameroon’s main man in the tournament if he keeps his form in the preparation.
