Semi finalist in the last two editions of the Under 17 AFCON,the Guinean government has given each player of the current Under 17 team to participate at the Upcoming AFCON in Dar Es Salaam-Tanzania a Qualification and motivation bonus of $3000 per player. Sources say the government’s an attempt to push the players to do more for the Nation in the Tournament.
Each of the 25 players that helped qualify the Nation for the Tournament and the members of the Technical Staff all got the money.
The players got their package before heading to Morocco and later Tanzania for the Under 17 AFCON finals where they will face Cameroon, Morocco and Senegal in group B.
kick442.com has attempted to find out about a similar detail from other camps especially the Cameroon but all officials have refused to comment on the issue.There are signs that nothing similar has happened to the Cameroon Team.
The West African Nation (Guinea) will make their 7th Appearance in this competition in Tanzania with expectation of getting into the Semi final and improving on their triple 3rd-place finish in 1995,2015 and 2017.
The Syli Cadets as they are known find themselves in a very tough group, but they know the two best teams in the group will qualify for the Under 17 World Cup later this year in Brazil.
The Journey starts for the very motivated Guinea Team next Monday when they face Cameroon.
